Why should you choose integrated MBA over regular one?

Students of the current generation are quite focused on their career and they like to make their choices early. Students now take firm decisions regarding their careers right after they pass the 12th standard. Some students do not like to waste so many years over graduation and post-graduation and thus they opt for integrated MSc. However, before opting for an integrated program, one needs to understand how the program will help him in the long run. People who are interested in making a career in the field of business studies are now often opting for an integrated MBA as it saves time and ensures that one gets placed. A comparison between the regular MBA and the integrated one is discussed below.

One of the primary benefits of getting an integrated MBA done is that the course structure is structured in a way that includes all the key points of business management studies. It helps the students to prepare for a proper degree of MBA rather than a graduate with a degree of BBA. That is why naturally the majority of the students are now opting for this integrated degree as it gives them more exposure to knowledge and that too in a shorter time. This ensures that when they are graduating, they are better prepared for the business world than a student who only holds a degree of BBA.

The course structure of an integrated MBA program highly resembles the one of an actual MBA program and thus students of the integrated course get a clear idea about the market they will be working in. When they are done with the course, they come out as seasoned marketers who can handle their job roles efficiently.

Another perk of getting an integrated MBA degree is that it helps to maximize your chances of getting a proper job in the market. When you are getting your integrated degree from a reputed college, it naturally ensures that you will have a settled career option before long. The time you have to invest in studies will lessen and the return you will be getting will go higher.

With a basic BBA course, you will be investing three years in it but you will learn only the basics of marketing. However, an integrated MBA course, that has the materials of both BBA and MBA will take five years to complete but will ensure that you get an in-depth idea about the world of business management and how it works.

However, the choice is of the student who will be opting for these courses. Both the courses are good in terms of landing a job but the integrated ones have certain benefits over the basic BBA graduation as already discussed. A student willing to go for this line of career need to clear their 12th standard exam with the required eligibility (45% being the minimum) and English has to be on the subject list. Thereafter, they will have to appear for certain tests before they can get enrolled in an integrated MBA program.
